David Lynch, Wes Studi, Lina Wertmüller and Geena Davis will all receive honorary Oscars at the Governors Awards this fall, the Academy has announced.

No. 1 ‘Dumbo’ opened with less than half what ‘Beauty and the Beast’ earned at the box office, while Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’ did well in second place.

The Oscars race is now a little clearer: ‘Green Book’ drove off with the top honor at the PGAs, winning out over ‘Roma’ and ‘A Star Is Born.’

The new ‘Spider-Man’ movie is a box office and critical success: ‘Into the Spider-Verse’ is No. 1, critics loved it and audiences gave it an A-plus.

“London Fields,” which she filmed in 2013, is finally out this weekend. And Amber Heard plays a warrior queen in the new “Aquaman.”
